"Generation of X-ray in Comets"
Generation of X-rays in comets due to production of high-temperature
plasma blobs from collisions of cometary and zodiacal dust
particles is being considered. Observations of dusty comets in the
zone of small heliocentric distances (R<1AU) by the ROSAT and
XMM-type X-ray telescopes seem warranted.
