Abstract

The implications of the rest mass of relict neutrinos in the evolution of the universe are discussed. In an experiment performed to determine the masses of beta-decay neutrinos, it was found that the mass of the neutrino is approximately 0.00003 of the mass of a proton. This suggests that 90-99% of the mass of the universe is hidden in the form of massive neutrinos.
