Accretion from the interstellar medium onto isolated neutron stars and black holes. 2.) Magnetorotational evolution of isolated neutron stars. 3.) Population synthesis of isolated neutron stars in the Galaxy. 4.) Local population of young isolated black holes and neutron stars. 5.) Origin of magnetars, relation of magnetars to regions of starformation. 6.) Evolution and observational appearance of magnetars. II) Binary Stars (Evolution of Close Binaries, Periods of Accreting Neutron Stars). 1.) Modeling the population of X-ray sources at the Galactic center: population synthesis of binary systems and spatial distribution of X-ray sources. 2.)
